Display information
Please enter which century/era your group represents. We want to get a clear timeline between groups where possible for your and the publics enjoyment.
Please give us a summary about your group and what you do. We can then use it in the show programmes and social media so please tell us as much as you can.
All living history groups are expected to interact with the public.
Please email us any pictures that we can add to the website/program/social media etc.
Please list any vehicles that form part of your display
Please list all members of your group including children
Wristbands will be issued for all members of your group at booking in and must be worn at all times.
No wristband = no entry to the bar and evening entertainment or re-entry to the site.
There will be no re issue of wristbands. Do NOT lose them.
Space required
Please indicate the amount of space your group/display requires. Please do not overestimate we want to give as many groups as possible the opportunity to participate.
Please ensure it's in metres.
Firewood
We will supply a 1/2 tonne bag for display use only. Obviously for larger groups with bigger displays this can be increased.
Firewood for comfort will need to be pre-ordered and will be charged at £40 per 1/2 tonne (this is at cost price).

We will supply or reimburse you at our cost. Please advise your requirements which I will forward to our armourer who will then contact you.
Plastic camping (not with your display)
Good news! We are moving the plastic camp back inside the showground near the showers and toilets. We are trusting everyone to abide by the rules so that we can keep it this way.

There is NO vehicle movement permitted whilst the show is open to the public.

There will be security on site, and the North & South gates will be closed but not locked overnight if anyone needs to leave and for emergency access. The interior gates will be locked at approx. 8.30pm each night to enable anyone that needs to leave site to exit. After this please ask security and ensure you are wearing your wristband.

No modern vehicles will be permitted within Living History after equipment etc has been unloaded

Passes are only for members attending or displaying within their group and whose names have been given in advance of the show.

Do not advise any of your group that it’s OK to come in through the public (blue) gate, as they will have to pay to get in. We cannot book them in at the pay gate.

Please List vehicles for plastic camping here so that passes can be issued.

Thursday Noon - 8.30pm.

Friday 10am to 8.30 pm

Saturday 7.30am to 9.30am.

Sunday return from 7.30am to 9.30am,

You may stay on site until noon on Monday if you wish.

ALL Vehicle owners to note that there will be NO vehicle movement on site during the show from 10am until 5pm. Anyone attempting to leave before the public have left and the gates are opened will have to wait to exit and will not be invited to the show next year. Gates will be opened at approx. 5pm Saturday & Sunday.
There will be NO movement of tracked vehicles at all over the weekend unless pre-arranged and marshalled by Battles Through History personnel.
No weapons of any description to be carried in public areas at any time unless by agreement with Battles Through History.

We welcome groups of from all eras, but we can only permit German Axis groups for the WW2 era. NO nazi or SS. Please see the shows “No Offence” policy on the website. Anyone wearing uniforms or badges of either will be escorted off site.
